I originally wanted to write in English, but I couldn't get started. What a tragedy! I haven't written in English for so long during summer vacation, and it seems I've regressed quite a bit. I need to practice more next time.
Why write about beliefs? It stems from a movie a classmate recommended last month, *The Secret*, an Australian inspirational film. Calling it inspirational is an understatement; it's more of a suspense thriller. In an hour and a half, it uses examples to demonstrate the existence of a special mechanism in the universe: a thought-feedback mechanism based on gravity. This mechanism shows that if your will is strong enough, you can attract what you want.

I've always believed that everything can be explained by science, and I've always been skeptical of certain metaphysical views. Regarding the universal gravitation mentioned in this film, I think it can be interpreted as follows: as long as you keep thinking about something and striving towards that goal, you will eventually achieve it. Perhaps you forget what you initially wanted during your efforts, but it remains in your subconscious, and at some point you will choose it. If you don't get what you want, it means your belief in obtaining it wasn't strong enough, and you didn't put in enough effort. This is what "heaven rewards diligence" means. This is also why there's nothing in the world that you can't obtain if you work hard.
A couple of days ago I saw a Taiwanese documentary about 2012 that mentioned something similar. Scientists claimed that the universe, which science has yet to fully understand, is a kind of gas, a substance similar to gas waves, which indirectly proves the existence of gravity. However, this hasn't been confirmed, and everything is still inconclusive. But our current scientific understanding is truly limited; there are many things we cannot prove. For things we cannot prove and do not understand, we might as well believe they exist. We don't know if this mechanism exists, but if we believe in its existence, it can fill our lives with hope and give us fighting spirit—why not?
I believe that whatever we want or desire in the future, as long as we dare to dream it and take action, we will definitely achieve it. If you send the message of your desire to the universe and put in the effort, the universe will give you a satisfactory response.
