I didn't want to say anything, but I'm feeling a bit depressed emotionally today, and seeing these low-class, ignorant people showing off again makes me want to say a few words. Hopefully, this will also help relieve some of my pent-up frustration.
This morning on the train back to Hangzhou, I saw a report saying that Japan has surpassed China in holdings of US Treasury bonds. Amidst this otherwise harmonious news, a discordant voice emerged. I saw a comment that roughly said: "We don't want one-party rule, a corrupt party that forces us to work. We want democracy." To avoid being censored, they even added numbers—quite a deliberate effort!
While it's frustrating to have comments deleted, and I'm always surprised to see thousands of comments but only a few hundred pages showing up, upon reflection, it makes sense. Should such comments be allowed to remain? Thoughtless words not only influence the thinking of other uninformed people but also corrupt societal values. I simply cannot understand the level of education of those who write such comments.
Regardless of whether the person who posted this comment is even mentally sound, they don't even understand basic principles. They complain about others while working? They don't even ask themselves if they studied hard enough. If you have time to complain online, why don't you think of other ways to succeed, even just reading some books and learning some knowledge? There's no need to say such foolish and extreme things that make you a laughingstock. Our country clearly has people's representatives; how can it be called a monopoly of power? Representatives are elected by the people layer by layer, representing public opinion. Isn't that democracy? Must it be like in other countries, with elections being held with loudspeakers every day, spending hundreds of millions of dollars, making people extremely annoyed before they're satisfied? Although the system of people's representatives is still very imperfect, we should look at it from a long-term perspective. Aren't we fighting corruption? Aren't we working hard to build a society ruled by law? This ignorant child is spouting foolish nonsense.
Last night I occasionally saw posts saying that these kinds of people are all internet cafe youths, idle and lazy. They do nothing all day, and when they see a pretty girl online, they comment with "I want to seduce her," and when they see gossip, they say "come see pictures." All that talk about loneliness is your doing! I really admire you; internet cafes are your home, and also your grave! (Rant over)
