The new version of HelloGWU is now online (with changelog).

Dear users,

The HelloGWU 2018 upgrade has been completed (log:HelloGWU 2018 Update AnnouncementThis update upgrades Discuz 3.2 to 3.4 and moves it to the AWS PHP7 environment. Since Tencent has basically abandoned this project, the update process is very painful.

As this is a major version upgrade, many of the original non-core functions are no longer usable (it's a pity that the project was abandoned). The core functions have now been fixed, and we will follow up on the non-core functions in the future.

Update Log:

• We've given it a completely new, cleaner UI (please bear with the ads; we need to cover operating costs).
• Users are required to upload an avatar after registration before they can post comments.
• Paid search ranking and email lists are temporarily unavailable.
• The Food, Drinks, Entertainment, and Lifestyle sections have been merged and renamed the OverBoring Discussion Forum, which will be a key focus for development and operation in the future to promote communication and exchange among users.
• The mobile version of the page is temporarily unavailable.
• App removed from app stores
