User mutual assistance invitation registration system launched

Dear users,

Since its inception, the website has been plagued by illegal online registrations and scammers impersonating students. The website has evolved from fully open registration to closed registration, then to allowing registration only with GWU email addresses, and now to manual verification. While these measures have effectively curbed harassment from unauthorized users, they have also caused considerable confusion and inconvenience for users.

With the ever-increasing number of registrations, manual verification could no longer quickly reflect and meet user needs. After careful consideration, the website designed a new invitation system.Registered users can use coins to invite unregistered users.Invitees will no longer be subject to manual review.

The working method is as follows (web-based only):

1. Registered users can click "Register Invitation Code" in the settings.Click here for the portal

2. Click to purchase an invitation code using gold coins.

3. After successful purchase, the invitation code will be displayed in the list and given to the registered user.

4. Registered users still need to register via email. On the registration information page, simply enter the invitation code to register.

****Registration codes have a time limit, so please generate them only when you need them.
Currently, registration codes are only available to non-beginner users. If you don't see an "invitation code" in your settings, you need to post more.
****Please cherish your invitation codes and maintain community safety.Try not to actively post it in the "group".There are all sorts of scammers "secretly observing" in various groups (don't ask me how I know).

In June 2012, the website opened for registration.

In February 2013, the website disabled registration for email addresses other than gwu.edu.

In December 2015, the website reopened registration. Users with email addresses other than gwu.edu will now undergo manual review.

In March 2017, the website implemented a user mutual trust invitation system, allowing registered users to purchase invitation codes with gold coins to register for unregistered users.
