Chase credit card holders can now get up to 24 months of free DoorDash membership!

I saw a message in a group chat today that Chase and DoorDash have partnered to offer up to 24 months of free memberships. This is fantastic news for those who frequently order takeout. The official statement is as follows:

DoorDash is my primary food delivery platform. Compared to Uber Eats and other food delivery platforms, it excels in every aspect, and I basically recommend DoorDash to everyone I meet. Its membership program costs .99 per month, which allows free delivery on orders over at restaurants displaying the DashPass logo.

I've been a DoorDash member for a long time, and the overall experience has been excellent. Most stores now offer DashPass, though the minimum spend is a bit tricky, but it's not difficult to accumulate enough. Besides free delivery, DoorDash members also get discounts on process fees, saving a few dollars per order.

Which Chase cards are accepted?

The official website only lists Chase Slate, Chase Freedom, Chase Sapphire Preferred, and Chase Sapphire Reserve. I don't know if the co-branded card can be used, but I think most people who have Chase cards also have these cards.

Chase Sapphire Preferred and Chase Sapphire Reserve members can get a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 24 months of free membership. For Chase Slate and Chase Freedom, there are only three months, and the membership fee will be halved for the remaining nine months.

How to activate?

This is very simple. Just link your Chase card to the DoorDash app and set it as your payment method. As shown in the image, after adding your credit card, you'll be prompted whether you want a free membership.

Note: If you change your payment method, your membership will be invalid.
