The complexity of this world lies in the fact that everyone has their own perspective, and these perspectives are based on past experiences.
More than three years have passed, and new GWU users may no longer understand the difficulties they faced without a rental platform. Based on the existing infrastructure, they have raised more demands for the platform.
Today I heard comments again that "hellogwu is utterly rotten," which was quite disheartening. But thinking about it carefully, there's really nothing to refute. I've only devoted my spare time to this website; it's not my whole life. At most, it's just a "personal project" that I can turn on and off at any time. The website itself is non-profit, and I'm the only one managing it now.
Every year when new students arrive, there are always various voices. Coming from a place with advanced information technology and fierce competition to a slower-paced country, it's normal to have some dissatisfaction with certain things. When I first came here, I also grew up cursing maillists, and that's why I created this platform—everything rises up and changes amidst criticism.
Regarding the replacement, I would be more pleased to see someone step forward instead of constantly making veiled accusations. It's been almost two years since I graduated, and I have more and more things to do, so I'm almost too busy to manage these public welfare projects. If everyone feels that it's time for a better platform to replace it, I'm willing to do my best to facilitate the transition.
The website has been operating for over three years, and it has grown increasingly larger, leading to ever-increasing maintenance costs…
Although every year before the start of the school year, there is a passion to upgrade the platform to provide better services for new students…
Although I love this platform, I hope it can provide more services...
Although he can solve some of the problems...
But if you absolutely hate or are tired of it, please let me know.
If possible, please stand up and change the dynasty.
