Will the "New Year Cup" still appear in Xiasha?

I wonder how many people still remember the Lunar New Year Cup football tournament organized by the High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University. I stumbled upon the Lunar New Year Cup poster on a forum a few days ago, and it brought back some nostalgia for that time.

The Lunar New Year Cup is a traditional tournament of Pingjing.com and Pingjing Paradise Club, and I recall it being held three times. There was one farewell tournament and two Lunar New Year Cups. The one at the High School Affiliated to Normal University received help from the school; the publicity was excellent, but unfortunately, heavy snow fell on the day of the competition, and it was canceled. I can still find the posters from that time:

After entering university, I was busy with the student union and didn't pay much attention to club matters. Wenyi University has excellent facilities and resources, and we initially wanted the club to be based there, but due to the sheer volume and complexity of the work, we didn't continue. During my two years at Wenyi, we replaced the various events previously organized by Pingjing.com with the Wenyi Football League, which is why this Lunar New Year Cup was discontinued. Honestly, I regret not sticking with it now. If Pingjing had continued, it might be a great student brand by now.

I was chatting with classmates recently, and we talked about football. Honestly, I haven't exercised much since coming to Xiasha, and I haven't played much football. Compared to the Wenyi Football League, which has ignited a nationwide football movement, the Xiasha Freshman Cup and Departmental Cup have far less influence. I've always believed that football competitions should be accessible to everyone, not elitist.

Next semester is supposed to be our Class 1 Football League season. Even after coming to Xiasha, I still miss the joy of those times. Although most of the participating teams were only of average skill, participating meant enjoying the thrill of team competition and the pride of winning honor for our class. The cheers and the heartache among my classmates are all memories worth cherishing. Now that I'm no longer in the student council, I can no longer organize such a nationwide event in an official capacity.

So it's not surprising that I recently thought back to the Lunar New Year Cup. The Lunar New Year Cup was organized unofficially, but it received strong support from both No. 13 Middle School and the High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University. Such events allowed everyone to enjoy the joy of football, and it would be a real shame if they were gone. In Xiasha, everyone is too lazy to leave their dorms and participate in activities. If we were to take up the banner of Pingjing again and organize the Lunar New Year Cup, how many sports-loving students would still participate?
