The website has entered the public beta phase, but calling it a public beta is more like preparation for its launch. In the next two weeks, we need to finalize the website's staffing, ensuring everyone is familiar with their roles and can perform their tasks proficiently. That might sound a bit abstract, but it's something we absolutely must do at this stage.
First, regarding staffing, given the current size of our website, we need the following personnel:
[b]首页总编辑:一名,负责首页新闻页面整体管理,包括新闻内容的删减,排版修改等。另外要兼顾通知、公告的发布。
Segmented News Editors: At least six people, each responsible for editing a segment of the news, including publishing and revising the news. Their primary responsibility is to ensure timely news updates, which is crucial.
News Comments Administrator: One (temporary). The number of such administrators will increase as the website's influence grows. They are mainly responsible for deleting some illegal, abusive, or other unreasonable comments.
Website Programmer: At least one person required, responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and updating the website; able to quickly fix any problems that arise; and to perform regular backups.
We need to accelerate our website promotion efforts. My plan is to establish ourselves as a comprehensive information website for Wenyi Campus, and then expand outwards when the time is right. Specific promotional methods include posters and flyers; for such a small campus, massive advertising is the most effective approach. However, no matter how well we promote, the most important thing is to retain users. News and the community section are our assets, with timely news updates being paramount.
The setup and modification of the homestead system, as well as the closed beta testing of the in-game store, will take place during the website's public beta launch. The in-game store will undergo closed beta testing after the website goes live in December, but the exact timing is still unknown. In the worst-case scenario, the in-game store will open early next year.
The public beta will only last for half a month. What it will look like after half a month depends on how hard we work!
