University

Suddenly, I thought about university and its meaning. I realized that many of my friends are working hard for the college entrance examination, but how many of them understand the significance of such hard work?

After twelve years of hard study, you finally enter university, whether it's a top-tier, second-tier, or third-tier institution. But how many people truly understand why they entered university in the first place? To get into a good university, they accept their assigned major, choosing a field they don't even know what they're capable of doing. As a result, their ideals become even more blurred, and their studies slacken. What does the future hold? Many more people cluster together, slowly following the crowd as they grow older, until one day they graduate.

Whether it's right or wrong, people have mythologized universities. Today's university students aren't worth that much. People have different strengths and specialize in different areas. Once you find your direction, it doesn't matter if you come from a prestigious university; you can still succeed and find a happy way of life. The purpose of education is to help people find their direction and strive for it. Simply learning knowledge and pursuing high diplomas is less effective than helping people find what they love and what they truly want in life to strive for. Only inner strength can drive one to strive efficiently and happily.

Seeing everyone in their senior year of high school striving and finding their goals makes me truly happy. I hope everyone can find their long-term goals, understand why they live, what kind of person they want to become, and what career they should choose. That way, they won't be heartbroken because they didn't get into their ideal school, won't become complacent in college, and won't regret their confusion and aimlessness when time has passed.
