Praise for Taobao's "Zhongshan Express" consolidation service

This article is to praise Taobao's consolidated shipping service. I remember trying Taobao's consolidated shipping service about a year ago, and even lost some items. On a side note, I've noticed that China is becoming increasingly efficient and industrially integrated. For example, when purchasing team uniforms, previously the retailers would stock the goods, produce them, and then ship them out. Now, orders are placed, sent to the factory, and the goods are shipped directly from the factory after production. With the former, expedited shipping can be negotiated with the retailers, usually resulting in delivery within 1-2 days. However, with the factory-direct route, because sellers have less control over the factory, delivery typically takes at least 3-5 days. This is progress, but also an unavoidable compromise in social development. When businesses don't stock inventory and directly sell unproduced futures, it shows how thin the profit margins are in this market. Who is profiting from this?

Getting back to the main topic, I wasn't originally planning to write an article, but since I had two successful purchasing experiences this time, I'd like to give it a shout-out. First, to clarify, this time I used "Zhongshan Express" instead of "Jiacheng International" for Taobao consolidation shipping, having learned my lesson the hard way last year. The two orders were placed on August 27th and arrived on September 6th, and placed on October 2nd and arrived on October 6th, respectively. The second shipment was particularly good; I expected delays due to the National Day holiday, but it wasn't.

After detailed analysis, it was found that the first shipment was sent via EMS, which took a week to reach Hong Kong, and took a total of two weeks. The second shipment, however, was sent via SF Express/UPS because special arrangements were made, and it arrived in four days.

This level of efficiency from Taobao's consolidated shipping service is almost on par with local US express delivery (most take 3-5 days). As for the cost, we had 26 team uniforms in 11kg boxes, and the total cost was 473 RMB. That's about 15 RMB per uniform, which I think is very reasonable, considering a single team uniform in the US can easily cost 100 USD.

Of course, the customer service was still extremely rude. Despite the poor attitude, they would still try to get things done, which reminded me of things back home, even though I was abroad. I don't know why, but I always feel that service personnel in China are all like this: rude, but still getting things done, whether under duress or for other reasons. I don't know where this intense hostility comes from.
