Hangzhou Dianzi University SIFE—Our Eternal Home, Thank You

Disclaimer: This article is not a promotional piece; it simply reminded me of an organization I had only recently come into contact with but which left a deep impression on me.

I've been in the US for over a month now, and everything has been uneventful. Life in the US is different from China in every way. It's an open country with greater inclusiveness, allowing me to see all sorts of things, broadening my horizons and making me more responsible.

The word SIFE has recently reappeared in my life. Firstly, news and videos about Hangzhou Dianzi University's SIFE recruitment have been flooding my Weibo and Renren feeds. Secondly, I am fortunate enough to participate in the SIFE World Cup, which is being held in Washington, D.C., and I will be able to meet elite athletes and successful business people from various countries, which is incredibly exciting.

I haven't been involved with SIFE for very long. My amazing senior year of college brought me so many experiences and allowed me to meet all sorts of people. Through introductions from Zhi Qiao and Chang Di, I learned about this organization at the end of February. Many people probably have the same question: what kind of team is this? Why does it seem so powerful and professional? What do they actually do? The answer isn't hard to find; it can be summed up in one word: focus. They are focused and serious about everything they do. I think everyone has dreams and the urge to prove themselves. Unearthing those dreams and effectively managing and organizing them can make a difference.

Why am I thinking about our Hangzhou Dianzi University SIFE team now? In a foreign land, I felt the warmth of home there. Although I didn't stay long and there were some misunderstandings later, those few short months allowed me to experience this warmth. Whether it was for the other team members or for me, there's a deep sense of gratitude hidden in my heart.

If I had to say what I regret most about college, it would be wasting my junior year. If I had met Zhi Qiao, Chang Di, Zhu, and Adobe earlier, I might have been more moved and wouldn't have felt so lonely.

If you are a freshman with ideals and ambitions, but feel lost about university, try joining SIFE. It will definitely allow you to experience a different life and a different university.

Will I ever have such an opportunity again here? How are you all doing now?

We navigate through the bustling crowds, following the initial direction of our dreams. We bid farewell to fear and hesitation, joining hands to grow together. The warm gaze in our eyes will forever remain in our hearts.

Every day, I shake off fatigue and worries, surrounded by radiant smiles and tightly clasped hands. I understand that your perseverance is for the realization of our dream, an unwavering dedication every minute and every second.

Every little dream, together, forms an ocean of love. Faith beats in our hearts, and the harvest brings beautiful hope!
