D.C. United Soccer Team Spring Recruiting – Eastern Conference Trials Begin

Dear freshmen and star players from the Washington, D.C. area:

Following a summer restructuring in 2018, D.C. United enjoyed a successful six months, winning the Fairfax Adult League title, the Washington Cup, and finishing fourth in the Alumni Cup. In 2019, we will compete in the ALSC Cup, the most important league in the Eastern United States. To better prepare for the ALSC Cup, we will continue to compete in local leagues (D.C. League and Fairfax Adult), the Eight-School League, and OSU Indoor Tournament, among other warm-up matches. To further strengthen the team, we are now openly recruiting outstanding players, as detailed below:

Washington Union Profile:

The District United Football Team (DUNF) was founded in 2012, formerly known as the George Washington University football team. The DUNF primarily operates in Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia (Arlington, Tysons, Fairfax), regularly organizing pickup games, watching games, and playing friendly matches with other DUNF teams. Through various developments, the DUNF has grown steadily, participating in various U.S. football competitions. Some players have participated in the ALSD Cup and the U.S. Championship League since 2013, winning multiple championships and runner-up titles.

The Washington, D.C. United Soccer Team's core members include: students/scholars (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral/postdoctoral students from George Washington University, Georgetown University, American University, George Mason University, University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University, Virginia Tech, etc.), and young professionals working near Washington, D.C.
